Foster Homes
Becoming a Foster Home can be a very rewarding part of helping the Biewer Rescue.
Foster Homes provide an essential service in the adoption process by evaluating the Biewers, ensuring their health and safety and by assessing their behavior and training. All of which is pertinent to a successful adoption.
What You Need To Know...
To be a successful Foster Home, you need to have a vareity of talents.
- Knowledge of the breed
- Understanding of health issues
- Be able to assess behaviorial traits
- Understand habits and training
- Have a lot of time on your hands
- Be able to act quickly
- Be able to travel
- Be compassionate
The Biewer in foster care and the Adoption Committee will rely heavily on your ability to accurately assess the Biewer in order for the ideal home to be found.
Want to Become a Foster Home?
We are currently working on creating an application for prospective Foster Homes. In the mean time, if you are interested, please contact us at general@BiewerRescue.com and indicate your interest in becoming a Foster Home for the BBCAR. Please let us know why you feel you would make a good Foster Home and outline your experience with the breed and your living arrangements.
